Melanie Ep-1

I'd been sleeping in the guest room for several days now. It seemed like this time the separation from Vanesa was final. I simply no longer felt like we were the young, passionate couple we once were... "These things happen," everyone I could confide in told me. These days it was easier to separate than to keep trying. The children were grown; Victoria was the most attached to me, while Vicho was quieter. I knew this situation was affecting them, and I knew…

I started going to the gym to burn off the excess energy I'd built up from months without sex with Vanessa. I was living my life like any normal guy. Little by little, I started meeting girls at the gym—pretty girls, concerned about their bodies, girls who only saw me as a gentleman trying to avoid a heart attack before 50... Until one day, after a night of arguments with Vanessa, I grabbed my things and went to the gym at 7 a.m. I wanted to be alone, but when I arrived, there were already…

From that day on, I started going to the gym very early. The girl was always on the elliptical or the treadmill. I tried to stand next to her, but she just recorded herself with her cell phone, without looking at anyone... At least that's what it seemed like to me.

One day, as we were leaving the gym, we bumped into each other...

- Are you okay?! Haha, oh, how silly of me...

- Yes, and you? I'm fine... Good...

- Oh, that's good...

- I've seen you around here for a while... I'm Melanie

- i'm..

-Victor.... The girl at the entrance told me...

- Yes! I'm Victor... Wait, you asked the girl at the entrance about me?

- Haha... Yes... }

- and that's it

- I was curious...

- ahh... I didn't know what else to say... I honestly never expected her to be curious about a guy like me...

- well, Victor... I'm going to the showers...

- Okay... I said, letting her pass... And watching that galactic ass she was swaying as she walked

When I came out of the bathroom, no one could wipe the smile off my face yet, I got in my car and drove off... Melanie was at the bus stop

- Hi! I said, rolling down the window.

- Hi! she replied with a tight smile.

- Where are you going?

- Downtown.

- If you want, I can give you a ride, I'm going there.

- Really?! Okay! Melanie said, getting into the car.

She looked at me like she knew me from somewhere...

- Can I ask you a question? Melanie finally said...

- Yes... Of course! }

- Are you a teacher?

- No... Ahhh... hahaha... Why? Do I look like a teacher?

- Hahaha, you're going to think I'm weird... But yes... You look a lot like a teacher I had years ago...

- Good teacher or bad teacher?

- Haha, it depends...

- Oh... You've got me intrigued...

- He was a teacher I really liked...

- Oh, that's nice... Is that why you asked my name?

- Haha, yes...

- Haha, well, at least you know I'm not your teacher...

- Yes

Melanie kept looking at me as if she were searching for something in me...

- Are you married?

- Haha, yeah...

- Ahh... And are things going well with your wife?

- Haha, why do you ask?

- Sorry... It's just that sometimes I don't filter myself...

- No, it’s okay... Let’s see... Tell me, what do you think?

- That things aren’t going well with her...

- Bingo!

- Why?

- Why... What?

- Why aren’t things going well with her?

- Things that happen when you’ve been married for many years...

- Hmm, has the relationship cooled off?

- Something like that...

- And do you think the relationship is already over?

- Haha, I don’t know... I guess...

- Am I making you uncomfortable?

- No... It’s just that you’re really direct...

- They're just questions...

- Do you know something?

- Hmm?

- You have good intuition...

- Really?

- Haha, yeah... I am a teacher... Although I couldn't have been your teacher... I teach at the university...

- What do you teach?

- Psychoanalysis...

- I knew it!! I want to study psychology!

- Hahaha, I figured as much...

- Why?

- Because of the way you ask questions—you want to get to the heart of everything...

- Hehe, you figured me out...

- You figured me out first...

We looked at each other, and we both fell silent... For a few seconds...

- What university do you work at?

- The Catholic University...

- Is it good?

- Yeah...

- If I got in there, would I be your student?

- Haha, probably...

- Would you like that?

- Sure...

- Hmm... Okay, if you’re okay with it, I’ll apply in a year...

- Excuse me... How old are you?

- 17...

- Oh... Wow...

- And you?

- 43...

- Does my age bother you?

- No, it’s just that I thought you were older... Shouldn’t you be at school right now?

- Haha, no, I’m taking a two-for-one course, and almost everything is online...

- Ah... That explains why I always see you in the morning...

- Yeah, I just like to start my day that way; after lunch, I can’t function... Hahaha

I never thought I’d be hitting on a girl who was only three years younger than my son... Faced with such a reality check, we kept talking, but inside I was berating myself for even noticing a little girl—and what a little girl she was...
